My favorite authors who inspire me to write!

One of the greatest thrills for me is meeting other authors and learning from them. Recently I was able to attend some book launches for my top favorite writers.

My book Far from Normal came to me when I was 18 years. I entertained lots of other ideas to write about but this one story wouldn't go away. I'm not sure I would have ever started writing if it wasn't for these wonderful authors sharing their time and talent with me.

It all started after I read Twilight and meet Stephenie Meyer at Poison Pen bookstore, I become serious and was motivated to write.
I joined ANWA a writers group and meet the fabulously Janette Rallison. Her books are some of my favorite and the classes she teaches on writing have really helped me develop my craft.

Another author I absolutely love, I meet about five years ago. I had read about a book that was being released called Austenland and the author just happened to have a book signing that very evening at Changing Hands bookstore. Shannon Hale inspired me to follow my dreams no matter how long I've been writing the book. She motivated me to keep at it and don't give up.

These authors have truly helped me and even though they may not know it they have made a big difference in my life. Thanks.
